“If Heaven” by Gretchen Peters

I sure like a bunch of Gretchen’s songs. She has been a hit songwriter for the likes of Faith Hill, Anne Murray, Etta James, and Trisha Yearwood to name some but not all of those who have beaten a path to her door to see what she has written that they can record.
Fact is, I’d rather hear Gretchen sing her songs that any of the above. One of her songs, “Independence Day” won the CMA Song of the Year (Martina McBride singing). So Gretchen is very much a known quantity in Nashville music circles. Maybe we can help get the word out that Gretchen Peters is a crackerjack vocalist as well.
From her album, Halcyon, here is “If Heaven.” HL
